Darkness, blackness of night eternal,

fall asleep within the broken wings of thee,

I am drowning my consciousness in sick, demented thoughts,

Strangling my cerebellum as my cortex withers and rots!

I am venturing into the shadows for places left unexplored,

Getting weak without my sleep so I'm pumping adrenaline into my spinal cord!

I need to be awake for this, I need to be aware for this,

My inner paranoia is making me go insane and acting as a catalyst!

I am bleeding my last will and testament upon these white and padded walls,

Just in case I leave this world and get lost wandering upon these halls!

Void.

Abyss.

Silent.

Dread.

Fear.

Gloom.
